Skateboarder Injured After An Accident With A Car Tuesday Afternoon Near NAU

A skateboarder was injured after colliding with a car on Franklin Avenue near the NAU campus Tuesday afternoon. Flagstaff Police say according to witnesses, the skateboarder crossed Franklin right in front of the car. The boarder was injured, but the injuries appear to be non-life threatening. The driver was examined at the scene. Franklin Avenue was closed for a short time while emergency crews tended to the accident.
