Six More Deaths, 85 New Cases Of COVID-19 On The Navajo Nation

The Navajo Nation is reporting six more deaths and 85 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday. The number of those who have died from the virus is now 79 with 2,559 total cases. Most of the cases reported in Arizona are in Apache County with 622 cases, followed by Navajo County with 556 cases and Coconino County has 296 cases of the coronavirus. The total number of people tested is 15,651, with 11,609 negative results. Another 57-hour weekend curfew will be in effect from Friday at 8 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m. For more information on the fight against COVID-19 on the reservation, log onto the Navajo Nation’s COVID-19 website at ndoh.navajo-nsn.gov/COVID-19.
