Tuesday was election day in a few areas of Northern Arizona. In Prescott, voters decided a race between incumbents Steve Sischka and Jim Lamerson for a seat on the city council. According to unofficial results, Sischka will remain on the council after receiving around 16-hundred more votes. In Dewey-Humboldt, voters approved a measure for the town to enter an agreement with Arizona Public Service to build, maintain and operate its electrical facilities within the town. Voters approved the measure 471-to-258. The town will receive two-percent of the revenue it receives from customers within the town. Even though Tuesday was election day around the country, there were no elections held in Flagstaff, Sedona and other cities in Northern Arizona.
