Show Low Police Arrested A Man After A Double Shooting And A Manhunt

Police in Show Low were on a manhunt Tuesday morning after a man was in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend that turned into a double shooting. Police say 29-year-old John Thomas was arrested after an alert went out saying he was to be considered “armed and dangerous.” The alert notified people in the Fawnbrook area to shelter-in-place and lock their doors. Police say two people were shot as they tried to intervene in the dispute. They have been airlifted to a Phoenix hospital for treatment. Thomas was taken into custody at around 10 a.m.
