Vaccine shipments to Yavapai County are being hampered by the extreme cold weather in other parts of the country. Because of the shipping delays of the Moderna vaccine, Spectrum Healthcare is pushing back appointments for Wednesday and Thursday this week to Friday or a later date. Spectrum says anyone who already has a confirmed appointment will receive the vaccine as soon as the next shipment arrives. Officials say all those who have a confirmed appointment for this week, are asked to check their website for details. The website is spectrumhealthcare-group.com/vaccine. Also, Yavapai Regional Medical Center health officials say they are moving vaccine appointments for after 12 noon Wednesday at Prescott’s Gateway Mall, to next Wednesday at the same appointment time. Everyone with appointments prior to noon, will be able to get the vaccine. Yavapai Regional Medical Center encourages everyone with an appointment for Wednesday afternoon, Thursday or next week, to watch their email for additional instructions, or go to the YRMC Facebook community for updates.
