Searchers Look For A New Mexico Man Who May Have Tried To Go Down The Colorado River In A Wooden Raft

A search for a missing New Mexico man is underway at the Grand Canyon. The National Park Service is looking for 58-year-old Thomas Robison of Santa Fe, New Mexico. His car was found abandoned last Sunday at Lees Ferry. Robison is believed to have attempted to travel down the Colorado River with his eleven-year-old Welsh Corgi dog on a self-made wooden raft. He is described as a white male, five-feet-ten inches tall and weighs 160 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. Anyone who may have seen him is asked to contact Grand Canyon Dispatch at (928) 638-7805.
