Volunteers and rescue crews have found the body of missing Cottonwood teenager Faith Moore. Crews found the 16-year-old’s body where the Verde River meets the wash where she was last seen in Cottonwood. Faith called 911 after her vehicle got stuck in the wash, in knee-deep water. By the time crews reached her location, she was swept downstream and the water was eight-feet deep. Authorities from all over the state used resources, both on foot and by air, which included drones, an Army Blackhawk helicopter, and other tools in attempts to locate Moore. Hundreds of rescue personnel and volunteers searched for four days looking for the Mingus Union High School student.
