A man was found dead below the South Rim of the Grand Canyon Tuesday. The Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center received a report of a missing hiker near Boucher Trail around 8 a.m. Officials say an aerial search began for 57-year-old Scottsdale resident, Ralph Stoll, and his body was found 200 feet below Boucher Trail between Yuma Point and Dripping Springs around 10 a.m. Stoll’s body was recovered and airlifted to the South Rim. The investigation is being conducted by the National Park Service and Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office is ongoing.
