School Bus Collides With A Pickup Truck Monday Afternoon In Prescott Valley

A school bus collided with a pickup truck Monday afternoon in Prescott Valley. Police say the accident happened at around 4 p.m. at Mendecino Road and Highway 69. When officers arrived they found a Prescott Valley Charter School bus and a Ford pickup truck has collided. Fortunately, no kids were on board the bus at the time, only the driver. Investigators say the bus was turning onto Mendecino Road from Highway 69 and the Ford Truck was heading west on 69 when the accident occurred. The driver of the truck was from Prescott and was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
