The lightning-caused Saber Fire is slowing down southwest of Flagstaff. Coconino National Forest fire managers were controlling the fire to allow it to burn fuel near Turkey Butte. The fire sent smoke into Flagstaff for several days, while crews burned to keep it away from power lines. The fire has burned nearly 33-hundred acres. Officials say the smoke has become very minimal and could be non-existent in days to come due to rising humidities and chances of rain by the end of the week.
