Road Work Set To Begin Wednesday On Plaza Way In Flagstaff

Road work will start Wednesday on Plaza Way, which runs past the westside Safeway store, between Milton Road and Yale Street in Flagstaff. City officials say concrete repair work will start on the south side of Plaza Way and traffic will be diverted through the turn lanes allowing a single lane in both directions. The work is part of 2014’s voter approved Prop 406 which dedicates sales tax revenue for road work and street safety improvement, which includes over 100-million dollars of infrastructure improvements set to be completed over the term of the 20-year tax. Work on this stretch of road is expected to last three weeks.
