Report: City Of Prescott To Discuss Becoming A “Second Amendment Sanctuary City.”

A week after Yavapai County passed a resolution declaring itself a “Second Amendment Sanctuary County,” the City of Prescott will reportedly consider doing the same. The “Daily Courier” reports the Prescott City Council will discuss becoming a “Second Amendment Sanctuary City” at Tuesday’s council meeting. The resolution is crafted similar to the one the county passed, but the paper reports it would add “after complete judicial review” that refers to laws that unconstitutionally infringe on the people’s right to keep and bear arms. Tuesday’s council meeting will take place at 3 p.m. at Prescott City Hall at 201 South Cortez Street.
