Regional Plan, Water Protection And Animals On The Work Session Agenda Tonight For The Flagstaff City Council

The Flagstaff City Council will be holding a work session tonight at City Hall. Council will be getting the annual report on the Flagstaff Regional Plan 2030 and they will discuss water resource and infrastructure protection through the Wildfire Management Program. They will also hear recommendations to revise the existing Animal Keeping Code. Some of the changes that will be proposed is a free permitting process, containment of livestock in animal runs, limit on total number of animals across different categories and revocation of animal keeping permits for complaints, animal welfare concerns and incompliance with code. The work session starts at 6 p.m.
