Nina Radford’s three with 34-seconds to play and Miki’ala Maio’s two free throws with 23-seconds left in overtime carried NAU to a 81-74 win over pre-season conference favorite Idaho State Saturday at the Rolle Activity Center. Sierra Mich’l led the Jacks with 21 points and was 11-of-14 from the free throw line. Khiarica Rasheed had 13 points, eight rebounds and six assists and Maio also had 13 points in the win, despite the Jacks committing 28 turnovers in the game. NAU is now 3-3 overall and 2-0 in the Big Sky Conference as they head back into non-conference play. They will take on Grand Canyon next Thursday night at the Rolle Activity Center.
