Gas prices are under three-dollars a gallon on average in Arizona. Triple-A Arizona says prices at the pump fell five cents a gallon last week to $2.95 a gallon. In Flagstaff, gas prices were down seven-cents a gallon from last week to $3.18 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $2.97 and lower. In Prescott, gas prices were down nearly three-cents a gallon on average this week to $3.13 a gallon. Some stations are selling gas for $2.89 and lower. Officials say demand for gas reached new heights last week while the price of crude oil hit their lowest points of the year earlier this month. As long as this trend holds, prices will continue to fall at the pump.
