Prescribed Burn Set For This Week In The Coconino National Forest

Prescribed burns are set for this week in the Coconino National Forest. This’s week burns will take place near Munds Park, again near Kachina Village and six miles north of Flagstaff. The burn north of Flagstaff will take place Tuesday and burn 525 acres. The Munds Park burn will be 920 acres and will take place Wednesday. The second burn near Kachina Village will be 291 acres and it will take place next Thursday. All burns will take place if weather conditions allow.
