A Prescott Valley teenager has been arrested for automobile crimes. Police were notified on Saturday at around 11:30 p.m. that a homeowner had detained a teenager they caught burglarizing their vehicle in the eight-thousand block of Dana Drive. Once police arrived at the home, the teen admitted to the crime, as well as several others in the area. The 15-year-old male was already on probation for auto theft and has been booked into the Juvenile Justice Center on related charges. The investigation is ongoing. Prescott Valley Police reminds residents to keep your vehicles locked, keep valuables out of public view and to call police when you see suspicious people or vehicles.
