The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety has awarded four new grants to the Prescott Valley Police Department. The grant money will go toward the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program, DUI/impairment overtime, materials and supplies, pedestrian and bicycle safety enforcement. Grant money will also go to prevention activity and overall education in schools. The grants total nearly $100-thousand. The grants provided by the GOHS are very effective tools in keeping streets and highways safe.
