Alcohol often plays a large role in group gatherings, so coordinating rides to and from the game is extremely important. Prescott Valley Police Department is encouraging citizens to be responsible for the safety of themselves and others. To stay safe on the roads, drive with someone, use a ride-share service, take a taxi, and if necessary, take the keys from the driver if they seem impaired. A grant presented by the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety will allow local police traffic units to focus on catching impaired drivers during the Super Bowl weekend. If you see reckless driving, report it to the Prescott Valley Police Department at (928) 772-9267 for non-emergencies and 911 for emergencies.
