Prescott Valley Police arrested two men on drugs and weapons charges during a traffic stop Monday night. Officers made the stop in the 31-hundred block of Glassford Hill Road for equipment violations. Upon contacting the driver, officers discovered that he was in possession of illegal drugs and paraphernalia, along with a 9MM handgun. The passenger also had illegal drugs and paraphernalia, in addition to a felony warrant for his arrest. The driver of the vehicle, 40-year-old Donald Hildebrand, was arrested and charged with narcotic drug possession and possession for sale, possession of prohibited weapon and failure to admit possession of a weapon. The passenger of the vehicle, 34-year-old Shane Adams, was arrested and charged with possession and use of illegal drugs. Both were booked into Camp Verde Detention Center. Prescott Valley Police have arrested 34 people for illegal drug possessions in 25 traffic stops between August 11th and September 6th.
