Prescott Valley Police are looking for help in finding a man who took a backpack after he did damage to a victim’s car, and shoplifted from an area store. Police say back on November 8th, a male suspect committed damage to the victim’s passenger side mirror by grabbing and breaking it at around 4 p.m. at Robert’s Market at 6450 North Viewpoint Drive. The man then took the backpack that belonged to the victim. Prior to that incident, the suspect committed shoplifting by taking items from the market. He then left the area and was seen heading northbound on North Viewpoint Drive in a newer black Toyota RAV-4. The suspect is described as a heavy set white male, 40-to-45 years old who stands about five-foot-ten inches to six-feet tall. He has short balding, brown gray hair and a mustache. He was wearing a short-sleeved gray shirt, black Under Armor sweatpants and light-colored tennis shoes. If anyone has information about the suspect, you are encouraged to call Prescott Valley Police at (928) 772-9267 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
