Prescott Valley Couple Arrested For Drugs Use And Dealing

A Prescott Valley couple were arrested recently after an investigation by the Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking task force. Investigators received information that 27-year-old Justin Horton was involved in heroin possession and sales. Detectives also discovered that Justin was selling heroin in April and it at least one of the incidents, he had his three-year-old child in the vehicle. He has also been linked to ongoing heroin sales in Prescott Valley the first week in May. Authorities went to a home in the 81-hundred block of East Canyon Lane last Friday. Officers entered the home and after a short time, detained 29-year-old Amanda Horton and Justin. Authorities also took the child from the home. During a search, detectives found meth, drug paraphernalia, a handgun, two rifles and more evidence. Justin was arrested and booked on a slew of charges related to the investigation. Amanda was arrested and booked on drug possession and child abuse and endangerment charges. The child will be turned over to the Department of Child Services.
