A new partnership between Yavapai College and Vivili Hospitality Group in Prescott is looking to reward college students. While operating restrictions affecting restaurants throughout the pandemic continue to be lifted, staffing shortages have left many establishments unable to fulfill the demand from customers seeking to return to in-person dining. With service worker positions being difficult to fill, Vivili is turning to college students to recruit staff for its five Prescott restaurants by offering employees free college tuition. The program launched Tuesday and is available at Yavapai College with registration starting with the fall semester. Students will be eligible for the program after 90 days of employment and working an average of 32 hours a week. New staffers must be employed by May 22nd to qualify. Employees must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintain a “C” or better average to receive the reimbursement.
