A Prescott man was recently arrested during a traffic stop for having over 80 fentanyl pills in the vehicle. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say 30-year-old Christopher Dowdy from Prescott and a passenger, 33-year-old Benjamin Wallach from Phoenix, were pulled over back on December 17th on Interstate-17 near Black Canyon City for several moving violations. The two men allowed a search of the vehicle, where a deputy found drug paraphernalia, two bags with a tube of 87 fentanyl pills inside one of the bags. The deputy also found other pills, possibly Xanax and drug packing material. They both were arrested on drug charges and remain in custody on $40-thousand bond each.
