A Prescott man was killed after striking a parked vehicle on his electric bicycle back on August 6th in Prescott. Prescott Police officers arrived to the scene in the one-thousand block of Sunrise Boulevard at around 8:50 p.m. to find the 47-year-old victim was thrown from the bicycle and sustained serious injuries. Officials say the man was also not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The victim was airlifted to a Phoenix-area hospital for further treatment. Then on Tuesday, the Prescott Police Department was informed that the bicyclist had succumb to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
