Four people were stabbed, including the suspect, during an altercation in Prescott Monday. Police were called to the Granite Creek area in the 500-block of Madison Avenue at around 5:30 p.m. They found the four injured people and a large hunting knife at the scene. All four were taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for treatment, with one transported to a Phoenix area hospital. During the investigation it was revealed that 23-year-old Kevin Klempner from Prescott, produced the knife during a fight and began stabbing the victims. He apparently stabbed himself in the leg accidentally while swinging the knife at one of the victims. The victims include a 60-year-old and a 36-year-old, both homeless. The victim flown to Phoenix was treated and released. Klempner was booked into the Yavapai County Jail on three counts of aggravated assault.
