A Prescott man was arrested after he was injured while spray painting graffiti on a tunnel Saturday afternoon off Highway 89 just outside Prescott, on the way to Wilhoit. Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area at around 3:30 p.m. to find the 26-year-old had fallen from off the tunnel and suffered a broken leg, cuts and bruises. The man was secured by a Yavapai County Search and Rescue team and taken to the top at around 6 p.m. He was loaded into an ambulance and taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott. During the rescue, it was learned the man had been tagging inside the drainage tunnel, slipped on a mossy surface and fell into the ravine. A bag of spray cans were taken from the scene.
