Prescott Man Arrested On Drug And Child Pornography Charges

A Prescott man has been arrested for possessing meth and child pornography. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say they received a tip indicating 34-year-old Michael Egbert of Prescott was in possession of sexually explicit images involving children. Deputies obtained a search warrant and searched Egbert’s home on McIntosh Lane back on January 15th. Detectives seized electronic devices during the search and found 15 grams of meth inside a safe belonging to Egbert. That evening, Egbert was arrested at his job in Prescott Valley. Investigators then found 13 images of child pornography, along with a video on his devices. Egbert was booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on possession of meth and child pornography charges and is currently being held in jail on $150-thousand dollars bond.
