A 27-year-old Prescott man was arrested after he fired a gun outside the passenger window of a car in a residential area Friday night. Officers responded to the area of State Route 89 and Ruger Road at around 11:15 p.m. after witnesses reported seeing the incident. Police located the car and detained 31-year-old Randy Luscombe Junior of Prescott. Inside the driver’s side door, they found a .22 caliber revolver with six expanded cartridges in the cylinder. Luscombe showed signs of impairment and was arrested. During the investigation, officers learned Luscombe dropped off 27-year-old Gregory Kazandjian. When interviewed, Kazandjian told officers he asked Luscombe for the gun and fired six rounds into the air from the passenger side of the car. He was found to be a convicted felon resulting from a previous incident in Florida. He was booked into the Yavapai County Jail for discharging a firearm within city limits, weapons misconduct, endangerment and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person, all felonies. Luscombe was cited for DUI.
