Prescott Health Clinic Puts Out Urgent Call For Masks And Other Items

The Community Health Center of Yavapai is asking the public for personal protective equipment for their health care staff. CHCY is operating triage, testing and care for patients daily and has high need for PPE that is currently in short supply. They are one of the facilities that is doing testing for COVID-19 in Prescott. Officials are requesting: masks, gowns, eye protection and gloves. Supplies can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. at their Prescott location at 1090 Commerce Drive or contacting Daniel Gennaro by email at Daniel.gennaro@yavapai.us to arrange for pickup. The items will go immediately into use by their staff. They are also urging the public to sew homemade masks if they have the ability. For more information, log onto chcy.info.
