Fire managers on the Bradshaw Ranger District in the Prescott National Forest are beginning a prescribed burn Monday and continuing through Saturday. Fire crews intend to treat 700 acres in the community of Groom Creek. The Pipeline burn will reduce fuels, restore wildlife habitat and improve forest health. Smoke impacts can be expected in Groom Creek, Ponderosa Park and along Senator Highway. For more information follow the Prescott National Forest on Facebook and Twitter, or log onto their website.
