The numbers continue to go up on the Navajo Nation. Health officials say there are 270 positive cases of COVID-19 on the reservation, with 12 confirmed dead. There have been a total of 2,353 tests administered, with 1,796 negative results. There are 112 positive tests in Navajo County, 83 in Coconino County, 22 in Apache County and positive cases in New Mexico and Utah. The curfew remains in effect from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. and the “shelter in place” order is in effect as well. Tribal officials said Friday they will start issuing citations to those who defy the orders.
