Sheila Polk was successful in her re-election bid for Yavapai County Attorney as she defeated former State Representative David Stringer in Tuesday’s primary. Polk knocked off Stringer 68-percent to 32-percent. Congressman Paul Gosar also had an easy night. He beat Anne Marie Ward 63-to-37-percent. Winners in the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors races include Harry Oberg in District One, James Gregory in District Two, Craig Brown in District Four and Mary Mallory in District Five. Annie Perkins, Tom Armstrong and Eric Granillo were all voted onto the Chino Valley Town Council, John Hughes was elected Mayor of Dewey-Humboldt, while Lori Hunt, April Hepperle, Martin Grossman and Roger Kinsinger were the top four finishers in the Prescott Valley Town Council election.
