Plan For Overnight Lane Restrictions On Route 66 Over The Next Month

The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising motorists and travelers to plan for overnight lane restrictions on westbound Historic Route 66 in Flagstaff over the next month. Westbound lanes near Switzer Canyon Drive will be narrowed to one lane as crews make storm-water improvements. Restrictions will be in place beginning at 7 p.m. tonight and ending October 18th at 7 a.m. ADOT reminds travelers and residents to slow down and use caution around personnel and equipment.
