The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists to plan for daytime lane restrictions on southbound Interstate-17 just north of Cordes Junction from Tuesday through Thursday, February 17th from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lane restrictions are needed for maintenance crews to apply a crack-seal treatment to the road, which helps the pavement last longer. Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane in three-mile increments and a speed limit of 55-miles-per-hour will be in place in the work zone. ADOT reminds drivers to slow down and use caution when driving near machinery and workers.
