Person Killed After Being Hit By A Train Saturday Night In Flagstaff

One person was killed after being hit by a train Saturday night in Flagstaff. Officials say the accident happened at around 10 p.m., when the westbound train hit the person near Steves Boulevard and Route 66. The train stopped at the Fourth Street bridge after the collision. When authorities arrived and found the person, they pronounced the victim dead at the scene. There’s no word on the person’s identity. The incident is under investigation.
