Paid parking will resume March 1st in downtown and southside Flagstaff. The program was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When ParkFlag resumes, the program will include changes that were recommended by the public including shortened hours of the pay-to-park schedule to reflect when management was needed the most. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The cost of an employee parking permit will decrease 75-percent to ten-dollars a month. There will be installation of new, easy to read signs, listing hours of operation and the locations of Employee North parking. Also the carry out zones will remain in place to provide locals and visitors the opportunity to get carry-out or short-term business done without paying for parking. Starting March 1st, payment will be accepted at kiosks, which will be sanitized daily. Payment can also be done on the Flowbird mobile app. For more information, log onto parkflag.org.
