One person was killed Wednesday night after a train hit a man in Flagstaff. Police say two men were standing on the railroad crossing, between east and westbound trains, at North Ponderosa Parkway and East Route 66 at around 10 p.m. The victim, 28-year-old Travis Haudley of Lukachukai, was hit by the westbound train and was pronounced dead at the scene. Railroad personnel called police right after the incident. A search of the area for a second person was completed and no other people were found in the area.
