One Person Is Dead After An Argument Led To A Shooting Friday Morning In Flagstaff

One person is dead after a shooting near downtown Flagstaff early Friday morning. Flagstaff Police responded to the parking lot of the Basha’s Shopping center at 1000 North Humphreys Street at around 2:05 a.m. on a report of two people shot. When officers arrived they found the men near a pickup truck at the south end of the lot. Investigators say the two were friends and were involved in an altercation. Authorities say 28-year-old Troy Dean Brundle of Mesa shot 27-year-old Travis McCluskey of Gilbert in the abdomen. Brundle then turned the gun on himself. He was pronounced dead at the scene. McCluskey was taken to Flagstaff Medical Center for treatment. The investigation is ongoing. If anyone witnessed the incidents, contact Flagstaff Police.
