Officials at Northern Arizona University say they continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19, or the coronavirus. NAU president Rita Cheng released a statement saying: “at this time there are no confirmed cases at NAU, in Flagstaff or in Coconino County.” She adds: “NAU remains fully operational and we expect our faculty to hold classes and our students attend classes and complete coursework through the end of the week.” NAU has canceled several large campus trips, as well as some student trips due to the coronavirus threat. Cheng also says classes could be shifted to “digital modalities after spring break, should the need arise.” Arizona State University went to online classes for at least the next two weeks, the school announced Wednesday. NAU will continue to monitor the situation in Northern Arizona.
