Northern Arizona Suns Player Arrested Friday, Quickly Waived By The Team

A player with the Northern Arizona Suns was arrested Friday in Prescott Valley and has been waived by the team. The Suns say 24-year-old forward Troy Williams was arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct Friday. Williams is from Virginia and played his college basketball at Indiana. He went to training camp with the Phoenix Suns, was waived and picked up by the Northern Arizona Suns, which is the “G League” affiliate of the Suns. Additional information on the arrest is not known.
