Northern Arizona Healthcare says so far there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 and does not have any patients who have tested positive in any of their facilities. Officials say they are closely monitoring the situation and are in close communications with both Yavapai and Coconino counties. Northern Arizona Healthcare says they don’t independently test for the coronavirus, but they do collect and send samples to the state or other approved labs for testing. Health officials say to monitor the coronavirus page at the Arizona Department of Health Services website for the latest information. They also remind people to wash your hands, avoid touching your face if you can, clean your home, avoid close contact with people who are sick and avoid crowds if necessary. Northern Arizona Healthcare operates Flagstaff Medical Center, Verde Valley Medical Center, among other health care facilities in Northern Arizona.
