Northern Arizona Healthcare Implements New Mask Recommendations At Care Centers

Northern Arizona Healthcare is continuing to update operations at its care centers, including Flagstaff Medical Center, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. Officials are asking all patients to wear a droplet, or surgical, mask when they enter any of their facilities for their safety and the safety of employees. Updating the mask recommendations allows caregivers to better protect all patients as well as themselves. Officials say this precaution, along with grouping suspected COVID-19 patients and isolating them from other patients, continues to make their facilities a safe place to seek treatment for all urgent and emergency care. As of Monday afternoon, FMC has 38 positive COVID-19 patients with 28 waiting for test results.
