No New Deaths From COVID-19 Reported In Coconino County Again Monday

There are no new reported deaths in Coconino County again on Monday, making it three straight days without a reported death, according to health officials. The number of COVID-19 related deaths remains at 44. Positive tests are up eight to 529 cases. Negative tests in the county are up 84 to 2,148. The number of positive tests in the Greater Flagstaff Area has risen to at least 80, with 50 of the cases in an area from East Flagstaff to Wupatki National Monument. The number of positive cases in non-tribal areas of Page is 56 with 380 cases in tribal communities of the county. Health officials also say of those who have tested positive, 25-percent had some sort of chronic medical condition, while 45-percent of the positive cases were in high-risk populations, which are people ages 65-years-old and older with at least one chronic medical condition.
