There were 13 new deaths, 172 new cases and 25 new recoveries from COVID-19 reported on the Navajo Nation Saturday. Health officials say there are 544 people who have recovered from the coronavirus, 140 deaths and 3,912 positive cases recorded. A total of 23,791 people have been tested on the reservation with 17,409 being negative. The reason for recent spikes is increased testing across the Navajo Nation. A series of large scale testing events is helping to identify those who are COVID-19 positive. The Navajo Nation is currently under a 57-hour curfew for all residents and businesses until Monday at 5 a.m.
