Navajo Nation Nearing 100 Deaths As The Reservation Goes Into Another Weekend Curfew

The Navajo Nation is approaching COVID-19 related deaths as the reservation heads into another weekend curfew. Health officials say there were eight more deaths reported Friday to raise the total to 96. There were 119 new positive cases reported to raise that total to 2,876. A total of 17,858 tests given with 13,426 negative results. There are 739 cases in Apache County, 609 cases in Navajo County and 314 in Coconino County. This weekend’s curfew runs from 8 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday.
