Casino and hotels on the Navajo Nation will remain closed until “it’s prudent to reopen.” The Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise Board of Directors made the decision to extend the closure of the facilities. The decision was made to protect the health, safety and general welfare of its employees and people. The closure has given the casinos the chance to give back to the community in this time of need. Twin Arrows Casino Resort has donated protective gloves to Winslow Indian Medical Hospital, food donations to the Flagstaff Family Food Bank and have prepared “Stay at Home” care packages.
