The NAU women’s basketball team came into Thursday’s game on a three-game winning streak, but ran into the Portland State Vikings and Emily Morales. She scored 28 points, including five-of-nine from three-point range, as the Vikings stunned the Lumberjacks, 78-66, in the Skydome. NAU led at halftime 30-29, but the Vikings outscored NAU 30-14 in the third quarter to lead them to the win. Montana Oltrogge led the Jacks with a double-double, 23 points and 11 rebounds. Olivia Moran added 12 points in the loss. NAU will try and rebound Saturday afternoon when they welcome in the unbeaten Sacramento State Hornets to the Skydome. Saturday’s tip time is at 2 p.m.
