NAU Women’s Basketball Beats Weber State, Is Co-Big Sky Champs And Will Be Top-Seed In The Big Sky Tournament

For the first time in 26 seasons the NAU women’s basketball team can call themselves Big Sky Conference champions after beating Weber State Monday on the road 66-57 and Montana State losing to Eastern Washington. In the game, Regan Schenck led the Jacks with 20 points and Emily Rodabaugh had seven points and ten rebounds in the win. The Jacks are technically co-champions with the Bobcats and Sacramento State, but NAU wins all tiebreakers and will go into the Big Sky Tournament as the number-one seed. They will open up Big Sky Tournament play Sunday at noon as they take on either Northern Colorado and Weber State.
