The NAU basketball teams took on the Idaho State Bengals Saturday and finished with mixed results. The NAU women’s team picked up their third straight win with a 70-59 victory over the Bengals in Pocatello. Khiarica Rasheed scored 25 points, 21 of them came in the second half, and Jacy Bailey added 13 in the win. The Jacks move to 3-2 in the Big Sky, one game out of first place. The NAU men’s team scrapped and clawed with the Bengals, but couldn’t get the win as they fell in the Skydome, 71-67. Brooks Debisschop led the Jacks with a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds and Cameron Satterwhite added 13 in the loss. The women will be back in the Skydome Thursday night when they take on the Southern Utah at 6:30 p.m., while the men will be in Cedar City to battle the Thunderbirds. That game tips off at 7 p.m.
